Okay, time for numbers 21 to 30

21. Theme Park (Mega Drive/SNES/Playstation)

This is a brilliant strategy game in which you have to build, run, and constantly improve your very own Theme Park in order to beat your computer rivals. There are masses of options, ranging from the speed of your rides to the amount of salt you put on your fries, and they all combine to create a very enjoyable and highly addictive game.

22. Flashback (Mega Drive/SNES)

Flashback is a truly classic platform adventure that combined superb graphics and an interesting plot to great effect. It was also quite a challenging game and therefore had good lastability. The sequal Fade To Black on the Playstation is also worth a look.

23. Brian Lara's Cricket (Mega Drive)

The first really good cricket game on any format and, until the recent Playstation update, it was probably the best. Brian Lara's was pretty realistic and was very enjoyable to play, however it did become a little boring after long sessions, just like the real thing really.

24. Columns (Mega Drive)

This was another very addictive and colourful little puzzle game, and seemingly Sega's answer to the brilliant Tetris. It was a very good answer and extremely addictive, especially in two-player mode, however once again the one-player mode did get a little boring after a while.

25. Road Rash II (Mega Drive)

Road Rash was a great motor bike racing game, however the two-player mode was crap, but it's sequal allowed two-player split screen racing and this was a good thing. The idea was to win races by any means necessary, including battering your opponents with baseball bats, in order to win money to buy faster bikes. This is another game whose memory has been blotted by a line of poor sequals.

26. Gran Turismo (Playstation)

The graphics on Gran Turismo are amazing, especially in replay mode, the options are many, and the number of cars is fantastic. That said I personally found it got a little boring after a while and I would rather play four player Mario Kart any day. If you are a racing simulation fan though it is a must have game.

27. Metal Gear Solid (Playstation)

It's not out over here yet, and I have only played a demo version, however I have put it in my top thirty as just those five or so minutes of demo are better than much of what is around. Metal Gear Solid has great graphics, is very clever, fun, and intense. I for one will be making a purchase the day it is released.

28. Tekken II (Playstation)

As I said earlier I am not an enormous fan of Beat-em-ups, however Tekken II is a good game, and so I have put it in my top thirty. I think it misses the speed of Soulblade and has inferior graphics, however this is made up for by the fact that there are masses of characters to choose and loads of moves. It is available on Platinum and so is worth a look.

29. Lylat Wars (Nintendo 64)

Lylat wars is an updated version of the excellent Starwing that appeared on the SNES near the end of its life. The graphics are superb and the one player mode is great fun, if a little repetitive after a while, also the lack of a level select can make it frustrating. What makes it a really good game is the four player death-match again, that involves having a dog-fight with upto three of your chums, cracking fun!

30. Porsche Challenge (Playstation)

You get to race with Porsche Boxters! That's really cool, however apart from that, some nice graphics, and good tracks, this game is a little bit disappointing. That said this is a good racer and there is a lot worse out there, also you can pick it up dirt cheap.
